II. ALWAYS be respectful to fellow members/roleplayers no matter what. Of course, your characters may snap at each other a bit, but out of role, that's a different matter.
III. Keep swearing to a minimum but low-level is somewhat allowed.
IV. Respect what the staff has to say. Don't answer back or argue. This will only make the matter worse and the staff try their hardest to make this site the best it can be. If you're getting in the way, you prevent them from doing more important stuff. By the way, don't for get to mention the word 'tropical' in your biography. No, seriously. To make sure you're not just skipping through the rules, we have joining keys.
V. Try to remain active! It gets very annoying when you're roleplaying with someone and it takes them a month to reply with a very small post. Try to post at least once a week. If you're going to be away, post an Absence Report to tell people that you will be away for a while. Don't forget to alert them of your return as well!
VI. Have fun! Roleplaying is all about having fun and letting yourself go. Be creative, outgoing, etc. Just make sure you're nice.
VII. Only ONE account per person please! If you want more than one character, you can purchase them!

General
I. Last Paw is a semi-realistic with a touch of fantasy canine roleplay site. This means, wolves, foxes, dogs and any other kind of canine can join. Strange colors of pelts or eyes are allowed but markings, wings, fangs, and other supernatural things must be bought from our shop. I will deny your character if you have anything other then the pelt and eyes a different color.II. ALWAYS be respectful to fellow members/roleplayers no matter what. Chatbox
I. Obviously, be nice! No harsh comments or such. People have feelings and you shouldn't wreck them!
II. If you are getting snapped at by another person, don't snap back at them! Contact an admin or mod to sort it out by PMing them if they're not in the chatbox.
III. Feel free to give other people links. AKA, links are allowed in our chat box.
IV. Just like general rules, do NOT argue with a staff member!

Roleplay
I. Just like the first rule here, LP is a semi-real with a touch of fantasy canine roleplay. Any type of canine is allowed.
II. Please post in third person. This means, you are not your wolf. For example, 'The small husky hid behind a bush, hoping not to be seen by the predator.' However, 'I hid behind a bush and hoped I wouldn't be seen by the predator.' is not allowed. We also encourage posts to be in past tense. Also, our last key is 'flamingo'. Don't forget to put that in your bio!
III. Missing limbs, diseases (like rabies), pregnancy and pups all have to be discussed with your pack Alpha. If you want your canine to have anything like that before joining a pack, please address that in your biography (Note: it must have a story to how any if that happened. For example, did the mother and father break apart so only one parent had the children? It's up to you. Also, canines with diseases more than likely won't be accepted in a pack. Especially rabies. But you could make a plot with the Alpha.) You must also buy missing limbs, albinoism, blindness or deafness.
IV. Just an add on to the rule above, many diseases canines get can kill them, send them crazy, get them killed by other wolves, and get rejected from the pack. Make sure you know this before allowing your wolf to get . If your wolf is dead, you may create a new character after talking to the staff.
V. When mating and giving birth, use time lapse. This means, don't explain everything. Before it happens, just say time lapse.
VI. If you think your canine has found 'true love' with another canine and want to become mates, tell your Alpha before becoming official mates. It is then, down to them whether you are mates or not.

Bans
I. If you disobey one of these rules, you may get a warning or a ban. Small things won't get you permanent bans but they may get you warnings.
II. After 3 warnings, you will receive a suspension, meaning a ban for a certain amount of time.
III. If you continue to disobey the rules again after a suspension, you will be given a ban. A permanent ban.
IV. In some cases, you can be banned for a really awful thing straight away. So be careful.
